Huawei Ascend W1 – first Windows Phone 8 Smartphone Chinese manufacturer – it was presented at CES 2013. There we learned all its features, but not price. Now that gap has been filled – began in China pre-orders for the WP-sets.

The smartphone can be bought for 1,599 yuan, or about $ 260. At this stage, it is the budget smartphone with Windows Phone 8, which is sold in China.

Remember that Huawei Ascend W1 has a 4-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels (full lamination technology ensures a bright picture even in the sun), dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 clocked at 1.2 GHz, Adreno 305 graphics core , 512MB of RAM and 4 GB internal memory (expandable via microSD card up to 32 GB). The smartphone also comes with two cameras – a main 5-megapixel and 0.3-megapixel front and battery capacity is 2000 mAh. The thickness of the device is 10.5 mm.

Compared to the more expensive Nokia Lumia 620 (compared with Chinese price) Huawei Ascend W1 has a larger display (4-inch anti 3.8), faster processor (1.2 GHz to 1 GHz), and much higher capacity Battery (2000 mAh – 1300mAch) but user memory is less (4 GB + 32 GB with 8 GB + 64 GB) .
