Contracts with mobile operators will be renewed only by written agreement

User can open ended contract terminated with one month notice without penalty on

Mobile operators will no longer be able to renew their contracts with subscribers only phone call. It finally decided to Parliament’s second reading amendments to the Law on Consumer Protection, says the BNR. Upon conclusion of any distance contract the phone will enter into force and the user will be bound by the proposal of the day on which the supplier has obtained the consent in writing, lawmakers adopted. In the absence of such – the contract becomes permanent. Users can open ended contract terminated with one month notice without penalty for that. From 1000 to 3000 Levs will be fine on a person who impedes the right of the member to withdraw from a distance contract, lawmakers adopted. The amendments limited the actions of the cable operators at any time replacing one with the other channels in the package of programs. It was decided that in case of a television program user can terminate the contract without compensation or penalty if the written consent for this.
